Sten Skaar and Travis Arket visit Las Vegas

One of the greatest things that Deadliest Catch has offered is a chance for Teacher April Holloway to create a creative curriculum for her 5th grade students.

The fact that the students are learning in an informal structure has proven to be a very proactive way to gain the attention of today's youth! Ms. Holloway has been able to tap into the children's natural creativity and curiosity to create a unique educational experience!

Recently Sten and Travis stopped by to personally thank April Holloway and her kids! Unfortunately the first kids involved with the class had moved on to middle school. However, the next class seems highly excited to start their own version of the Deadliest Classroom!
