As Deckboss and Engineer, John is the man behind the day-to-day up keep of the vessel and its experimental technology. Even in his spare time he works on the green boat system, hoping it can be used on a larger scale someday. John also comes from a proud fishing tradition of Norwegian descent and is the brother of Captain Sten.
When John isn’t working one of the crab seasons, he is working with the Gen-Tech team to refine and improve the technology. In the 2007 King crab season John saw his years of hard work pay off, by ocean testing the Gen-Tech system in the Bering Sea.
