Prepare for Opilio Crab

Winter sets in and the guys are off to Alaska! This time for the ever grumpy looking Opilio crab! The season will begin around the 15th of January. Opilio fishing is a race against the winter. The weather is nasty, the air is freezing and the ocean turns to a giant ice skating rink. Wish us luck, as its better to be lucky than good where we're headed.


King Crab '08 - Fun, Adventure and lots of Money

The King Crab '08 season is officially over for the crew of the North American! At just 83,000 pounds of king crab, the crew scooped up the crab in just under four days! With a record weight average for Unisea Seafoods all year at 7.44 lbs!

Captain Sten, along with John, Travis, Davin and with returning deck hand and renowned chef, Terje all came back with all their fingers and toes and a little money to boot! A very limited amount of North American caught Red King Crab may become available through the website very soon!
